What we have no control over: THE WEATHER. Today and tomorrow Mother Nature is preparing to dump snow and then blow it all around making travel difficult thus, our weekend plans have changed. No grandparents driving down...which means... no stressful drive, no worried kids, no accidents, no special day but....safe and sound family members with another day to look forward to on the calendar. ;-)
We are not covered with this much snow yet....but they are predicting it.
I must remember this quote!!
Really??? Would you take a bike ride on this trail???
Cutest santas ever!
And having to tell my kids that G&G are not driving down equals this:
Usually my kiddos are good at looking at what is best for others.....
until it involves grandma and grandpa bearing gifts, treats, and hugs!
WHAT they aren't coming??!!!
but we want them to be safe....
WHAT THEY aren't COMING???
but the snow could get really bad....and we want them to be safe.....
Are you lying?
So....they really AREN'T coming!
Grandma and Grandpa will be missed today and tomorrow but we will look forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks. Until then, we will video the Christmas program and watch it together another time. And the kids? After the 5 minutes of depression and sadness passed they are now laughing together and watching SpongeBob....oh, what a little TV can do. ;-)
