"Be who you are
and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind.”
~not sure who said this but it is great!

Well, you have heard enough about ME lately so as the kids run around yelling at each other to be "quiet" and to "quit annoying me"...(straight from Kenz herself) on this morning of a 2-hour late start for school ...I thought I would let you know what their social calendar has been full of.

*It's choir concert time of year. She sings with an "extra" choir during the year and when concerts dates are set her choir also sings at ALL of them. So we have been to the 6th, 7th and 8th grade concerts in the past weeks or so. We are right in the middle of another American Idol season and loving this one as much as any when not finishing up homework, attending confirmation, and enjoying her "new" room ...she is just hanging as any normal 7th grader does. She is signed up for golf in the spring and looking forward to the two camps she is going to this summer.

*She too is having a musical program at school soon.....she has been practicing for that and even tried out for a solo singing part. She said there were about 20 kids who tried out for the 2 solo spots...she said they were good and she was nervous...I said it doesn't matter if you get it or not, its just great that you tried!! She has been busy playing with friends, her siblings and, of course, watching TV...her absolute favorite activity EVER!!! She too is going to two camps this summer. One is just here through our church but the other is a horse camp **over night** for a week in mid-MN. (She is going with Coley so I think they will have a blast...lets hope ;-()

*If this morning is an example of Owen...I have told him to be quiet a number of times, Kenzie has told him to "stop annoying her", and Coley just said "leave me a lone". He is singing "Give me the fish" from the McDonald's commercial, he is running after Kenzie as she is dressing, and I told him a few times that Girl Scout Cookies are not for breakfast and they are not a "treat after breakfast". UGH! Can we say a typical 6 year old boy? Or one that needs to be introduced to Manners 101?

*He is going to the MN State Hockey Tournaments with some friends this weekend. I think he is looking forward to getting out with the guys for a night of eating, drinking, and fun. Although, I KNOW he is thrilled for the upcoming TWINS season...I can't believe the number of emails we have received from the TWINS lately...I think every one is excited for the out door stadium!!! Woo Hoo!!
